HMR is an educational and therapeutic process based on current research on trauma induction. Both a body-centered and client-centered practice, HMR aids clients in resolving the emotional impact of stress-inducing events by enhancing a sense of safety through creative visualization and stress reducing techniques. HMR has been used to successfully to address anxiety, addictive and compulsive disorders, chronic pain, migraines, trauma and stress related disorders.
